Christmas at the châteaux of the Loire

This château, famous for its incredible gardens, is celebrating Christmas from 2 December 2023 to 7 January 2024 with the theme "Nature invites itself to the château". Discover enchanting plant decorations adorned with small forest animals. The magic continues in the gardens, all decked out in their winter finery.

⏰ Depending on the dates, the château and its gardens are open from 9.30am to 5pm or from 9.30am to 5.30pm.
From 2 December 2023 to 7 January 2024, this "castle on the water" will be adorned with flowers and bouquets composed by the castle's floral workshop and a polished staging designed by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France scenographer. The kitchen, meanwhile, contains giant sweets and candy canes.

From 1 December 2023 to 8 January 2024, the iconic Château de Chambord goes into Christmas mode: sparkling decorations, costumed entertainment, Christmas trees and candy canes add a unique touch. The Château de Chambord is also offering new festive activities:
⏰ 1 to 22 December: 9am-5pm - 23 to 30 December: 9am-6pm (except 24, 25, 31 December and 1 January)
