Jardin des Prébendes d'Oé

Go to the heart of the city to visit one of the most emblematic natural areas of Tours!

Created in 1872, this garden is very popular with the people of Tours and is classified as a Remarkable Garden.

Start your visit at the main entrance (rue Roger Salengro) and its magnificent gate. Along the winding paths, discover different species of plants, all grouped by species. You will find plane trees, common and silver lime trees, ornamental plum trees, gingko trees and 7 giant 150-year-old sequoias.

A real little haven of peace in the middle of the city, only 15 minutes on foot from our hotel!

Garden of the Prieuré Saint-Cosme, home of Ronsard

Known as the home of the famous poet Ronsard, the Prieuré Saint-Cosme is a place steeped in history.

It consists of a former monastery and the remains of the old church (where the poet is buried), and also features beautiful gardens.

From March to June, you can admire the iris in bloom. Other species of flowers are also present: roses, lilies, tulips and dahlias.

Its beautiful French gardens are known throughout the world. On the programme: "love gardens", a water garden, a labyrinth, a 3-hectare wood, or a vegetable garden... There is something for everyone!
